Discussion concerning the focus for the group. "In a world of diminishing resources it is more important than ever that we be able to feed ourselves as a nation." · focus on soil fertility, soil quality· land is hooked on drugs· loss of microbial activity, natural flora, organic matter· can harvest more from healthy ecosystem· building our soil for the futureUse diverse media - newsletters, social networks, mailing lists, in addition to newspapers. Need communication plan 1) mission 2) tools 3) plan. Need to connect people to the land, connect people to their next meal.For future editorials, members should phone local newspapers and encourage publication. |
