Alan Merrill, MFU President, invited me to the board meeting to discuss who the Council is and what we do. |
| Accomplished: |
In an informal setting facing the 9 board members, I briefed them on how the Council is structured, when and why we were formed, and issues of our current focus, including:
- CMR NWR Community Working Group
- MRRIC
- BLM Central MT RAC
- Missouri-Madison CREP
- Eurasian Water Milfoil Task Force
- Cottonwood Regeneration on the Monument
Dean participated by emphasizing importance of the Council to agriculture and communities. Dean also assisted in answering questions and providing detail on projects. The 9 board members were given the handout that was prepared for and distributed at the legislative meet and greet in January in Helena. |

Stay in contact with Alan Merrill; Chris Christiaens, Legislative & Project Specialist; and Brett Dailey, Board Members from Jordan. Invite them to the CMR NWR Working Group meetings. Perhaps participate in sponsorship capacity in Ag day this summer. Continue to investigate ways we can partner. |
