Meet legislators and discuss upcoming legislation. Set up display and have hand-out material available on Council.

Based on the recommendation of Jeff Tiberi and his concern about display space availability, I took the small MRCDC display.  Most displays were of rural water systems.  The YRCDC also displayed.  My conversations were primarily with watershed, conservation district, and agency people.  I also talked to Pat Connell who is on the Natural Resource Committee and introduced Pat to Dean Rogge and Nicole McClain.  I met Rick Anderson and briefed him on the CREP addendum status.

Continue to develop relationships with legislators on committees important to the Council.  This can be done face-to-face when I am in Helena, via phone calls, and via emails.  Steve Granzow, Lewis & Clark Court CD Supervisor, would like to be invited to future MRCDC meetings and is interested in being more in touch with our activities.
