Trying to visit each Conservation District in our Council at least once per year in order to meet the Administrator and Supervisors, get an understanding of their local issues, and update them on activities and focus of the Council. This is Coordinator's second visit and John Chase's first visit to Lewis and Clark County CD. Council member Scott Blackman was in attendance. |

Briefly filled the Board in on our major efforts, including CMR Community Working Group, MRRIC, BLM Central MT RAC, Missouri-Madison CREP addendum, cottonwood regeneration, Eurasian watermilfoil (EWM). L & C CD is hosting a grazing seminar and dinner on May 17. The speaker will be Jim Gerrish of Idaho and the cost will be minimal. Details will be provided as the date gets closer. I met Scott Blackman for the first time; John Chase and I talked to him about hosting a 1/2 day tour in July for the MRRIC meeting attendees. |
