Council's Quarterly Meeting

The Missouri River Conservation District Council will be holding their next meeting and tour May 18th and 19th at the Fort Peck State Fish Hatchery located at 227 Highway 177 just below the town of Fort Peck. Tim Griffiths NRCS, National Sage Grouse Initiative Coordinator is scheduled to speak on the 18th, a Sage grouse habitat tour is scheduled on the 19th(tour has been cancelled due to high water).  Agenda items include CREP Addendum update, Whitmore Raving update, CMR NWF Community Working Group update, and much more.

CMR Stakeholder Group Meeting

The CMR NWR Community Working Group will be holding in next meeting February 17th, 2011 at the Memorial Building in Circle.  The meeting will start at approximately 10 am a cash lunch will be available and the meeting will conclude at around 3 pm. We will have speakers on the economics of ranching in Montana on both private and public lands.  Directions are as follows:

The council’s next meeting will be held January 12th, 2010 at the MFWP Lewistown Office located at 215 W. Aztec Drive (Airport Rd) from 1- 4 p.m. Agenda items include Flood Photo Archive Project, CREP Addendum, Hi- Line RMP Comment letter and Lower Missouri Wildlife issues.
