BLM Hosts Educator Workshop

The Office of Public Instruction has approved eight-hours of continuing education credits for participants. The workshop is a cooperative effort among the Bureau of Land Management, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, the Missouri River Conservation Districts Council and certified GLOBE instructors. This workshop is being funded in part by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality 319 mini-grant program.

The Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument Interpretive Center, in Fort Benton hosts an aquatic ecology workshop Saturday April 25th, 2009 from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. This workshop is geared toward educators who want to incorporate aquatic ecology and water quality testing into their curriculum. Participants will learn about water quality and explore various Project Aquatic education programs.
